Meet Tanya
Tanya White Anderson is a community leader and advocate for public education, working-class citizens, and our military veterans.
In her work as an advocate, Tanya has worked to improve access to healthcare, housing, and job training for veterans in our community. She is also committed to improving public education in North Carolina because every child deserves access to a quality education, regardless of their zip code or family income.
Tanya is running to represent District 12 in the North Carolina Senate.
Education
Every child deserves access to a quality education, regardless of their zip code or family income level. Tanya will fight for increased funding for public schools, higher teacher pay, and more support for at-risk students.
Working Families
Every person in North Carolina deserves to earn a living wage and have access to affordable healthcare. In the Senate, Tanya will work for policies that support working families, like increasing access to affordable housing.
Veterans
Tanya has been a long-time advocate for our veterans. North Carolina needs to invest in those who have made significant sacrifices for our country, and Tanya will work for veterans' housing and health in the Senate.
We need leaders who are committed to making a positive difference in our community. I have seen firsthand the challenges facing working-class families in North Carolina. I am committed to fighting for policies that support our veterans, improve access to education, and provide economic opportunities for all North Carolinians.
